Started as a 5-team league in Daegu, South Korea, the ROK-U League, founded by Marty Nedjelski back in 2009 has now grown bigger to include teams all around South Korea, from Seoul, Busan, Pohang, Joongbu, Gwangju, Daegu and many more. Every year, there are two leagues, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Each season has 13-15 teams with the regular season games played in 5 weekends, held in locations all over the country.
The league welcomes all levels of players. It tries to promote and spread ultimate frisbee in Korea and the league is the grass roots of the Korean Ultimate scene. ROK-U has also caused a lot of people to stay longer in Korea as the community that has been created in the league has become like family to them.
DH has been a uniform partner of the ROK-U League since 2015, and has worked with the league by designing each team's remarkable designs with the help of the team captains, and producing their team uniforms. The ROK-U League also partners up with us by creating various league merchandise including jerseys, shorts, caps, headbands, and even belt bags.
The fall season of 2019 has just ended and we would like to congratulate the Champions, the Seoul Spartans who won their way in the finals against the equally exceptional Mighty Ducks.
